Workplace Giving
One of the quickest and easiest ways you can help the Samuel Morris Foundation to make a difference to the quality of life for disabled children and their families, and assist us in preventing future drownings is by “Workplace Giving”.
What is Workplace Giving?
Workplace Giving is a system that allows you to donate money to your favourite Deductible Gift Recipient charity (the Samuel Morris Foundation!) directly through your pay. Donating to your favourite charity via Workplace Giving allows you to receive an automatic tax deduction every week! How do I donate through Workplace Giving?
Donating through Workplace Giving is quick and easy. Simply download the workplace giving form available at our forms page, fill it out nominating the Samuel Morris Foundation as your preferred charity and nominating the amount and frequency of your donations (ie weekly, fortnightly, monthly etc). then give a copy to your employer and post a copy to us. Your employer will then take you donation from your pay and pay it directly to the Samuel Morris Foundation.
If your employer does not yet have a workplace giving program then details about workplace giving programs are available at the Australian Taxation Office website, or they can contact us to obtain assistance.
Alternatively you can point them to this website and they can download the Workplace Giving Guide below.
